My primary focus as a certified mortgage planning specialist is to help my client’s structure financing options that meet
their purchase or refinancing needs. The mortgage industry has undergone major changes in both available products and
guidelines for processing and underwriting home loans. My industry experience and product expertise is used to help my
clients structure a loan that allows them meet their financial goals and close on time. Explaining the process and
deterring what documents will be required to submit a loan for approval are always discussed in our initial consultations.
Once we have reviewed the required documents and decided on a mortgage strategy, I will provide accurate estimates for
monthly payments and closing costs. I also monitor the bond market to help clients make an educated decision on when to
lock their interest rate.
Kristin Reagan - Loan Manager
When you talk to Kristin, you will quickly see why she is a valuable asset to our mortgage team. In addition to Kristin being a loan originator,
she also focuses on assisting clients through the mortgage process. After meeting with David or Kristin and deciding on a mortgage strategy,
Kristin will stay actively involved in keeping everyone informed of the loan progress throughout the transaction. She also keeps a close eye on
the market and will be able to help you make an educated decision with regard to locking in an interest rate. If David is not accessible, she is
also available and qualified to review your current situation to assist in selecting the best mortgage strategy. After closing, Kristin is
available to assist clients with questions regarding initial payment coupons, escrow accounts, etc.
Debbie McClearen – Loan Processor
I focus my time on making sure our underwriter has all the required documents needed to support the loan application. This
includes, pay stubs, W-2’s, bank statements etc. I also take care of coordinating the third party venders who are needed to
clear a loan to close on time. This includes confirming property insurance, builder certifications and so forth. I will often
have direct communication with the client in an effort to make sure all documents are received and that all disclosures are
signed and dated appropriately. Once the loan file has been underwritten I work with the closing department to make sure the
settlement agent receives the loan package in a timely manner. When the attorney sends the Settlement statement it is reviewed
by Kristin for accuracy before I send to all parties for funding.
